Little People

Little People

My daughter LOVES the Fisher Price Little People. Somehow they wind up everywhere. She ensures that they all have names and they all have personalities.  It is an amazing sight to behold as she cares for each one.  Sometimes lining them up just so or giving them their favorite treat.  On occasion one even needs to be consoled after having their feelings hurt.

Why do I tell you this?  Because I have realized I also have Little People inside of me. Oh don’t be shocked, you do too.

You have that little person who tells you that you have nothing worth sharing.

The one who says you aren’t old enough or don’t have enough experience.

The one who says you should wait to try.

But how about those OTHER Little People?

The one who says “why not”?

The one who says you deserve more.

The one who wants you to be more. No, the one who knows you already are more.

My #4OCFpln is my tribe, my people. They care for my Little People much like my daughter cares for hers. They console me, support me, give me the things I need.  Find your people.  It may take you a few tries to find just the right mix.  It may take a few tries to find the right platform to connect.  When you find it you find magic.
